There is nothing like a New Orleans Poboy. Whether you like it dressed or with only mayo and ketchup, you can’t find a sandwich like our poboy anywhere else in the world.
There is a little bit of controversy on how the poboy came to be, and whether or not it was really referred to as a “poor boy” or not, but all we know is it spectacularly New Orleans and it takes a certain kind of establishment to whip up the perfect poboy.

Rachel Rivera is the girl behind the camera at Eating NOLA. A blogger and author since 2007, Rachel has been involved with many popular blogs that focus on literature, writing, New Orleans, and tech. Rachel is a native New Orleanian, her favorite PoBoy is a messy roast beef and if she is feeling fancy she’ll order a French 75. Along with writing for Eating NOLA and doing some of their video editing, you can find Rachel writing romance novels or her real job which is mostly marketing…mostly. She much prefers Eating and Romance novels.
